Shinto Priestess Kokeshi I

I'm pretty happy with this one. I love how the details like the bow on her hakama and the little bitty sandal straps turned out on her.

This adorable little Shinto priestess is hand painted and modeled after the traditional Japanese kokeshi doll.

The little priestess is wearing a white Kimono top with red stitching painted at the hem of her sleeves. Her Hakama(Pants) are a rich red with a little bow painted at the front. The base of the doll is painted tan with little straps for her sandals.

Her hair is made from black polymer clay with a faint silver sheen. It's sculpted into a cute little bob cut with a little white bow and red and purple flower accent on her right hand side.

Set into her hair is a little gold loop. Attached to the loop is a gold wire hook, which can be removed with a little twisting. Great for Christmas trees, rear view mirrors, and more.
