A cake I did for my Art 101 final project.

I baked the cakes a couple days in advance.
Mixed the frosting about 2pm the day before it was due and finished it around 1am the next morning working almost straight through.

The cake is just instant stuff; white on top with a lemon meringue pudding filling, and two different kinds of chocolate on bottom with chocolate mud pie pudding filling.

The frosting is mostly homemade buttercreme. I tried a diffrent recipe then I usually use hoping it wouldn't be as sweet as the wilton stuff. It was just as horribly sweet (Though my classmates all seemed to like it) but I think I'll stick with it over the wilton stuff anyway, it was alot less tempramental. I only used one consistancy for the whole cake and it worked just fine the whole time.

The other frosting on it is canned confetti (or rainbow chip) frosting. I tried using it as a base so I wouldn't have the whole cake covered in the uber sweet stuff but I ended up scraping half of it off on the bottom because it was to thin and couldn't hold the weight of the buttercreme.
